About Telephony Partners
OUR MISSION
To grow our business by partnering with agents and offering them training, expert engineering and carrier support so that we can succeed together.
Telephony Partners enables its network of agents to deliver telecommunications solutions to their small, medium and enterprise business clients. Our relationships with all the major carriers and equipment vendors, and our own staff of engineering and back office experts allow our agents to offer flexible, complete solutions to their clients and the freedom to focus on sales.
Our agents choose us for our exceptional network expertise, reliable automatic payment, highly competitive commissions, training, and back office support. Our commitment to providing the best service to our agents extends well beyond marketing a competitive suite of capabilities – it is the focus of our organization and something we strive to improve each day.
With roots in hardware and software, we have done business from the perspective of our resellers and agents, experience that defines how we manage our relationships and strive to bring the best quality and support to every deal that crosses our desks. The Telephony Partners staff possesses a breadth of experience across interconnected disciplines that bring sophisticated insights to the solutions we offer and the support that is central to our mission.
Telephony Partners Leadership
Josh Anderson, CEO
Josh is the founder and CEO of Telephony Partners. His experience in telecommunications began with its sister company CDSI, a company that develops hardware and software to bring unique functionality to high-end IP- and software-based PBX clients. CDSI exposed Josh to the telecommunications indirect sales channel — he was managing direct carrier relationships in the course of selling hardware, a role many Telephony Partner reseller agents would later appreciate — and he became convinced that a rigorously ethical master agent guided by engineering expertise and a focus on agent support could grow to be best of class. He subsequently founded Telephony Partners in 2002 and the company continues to be guided by the principles Josh envisioned, garnering praise from agents and carriers alike for integrity and vision. Leveraging engineering and software expertise, the company has grown rapidly and continues to develop relationships with VARs, telecommunication professionals, and leading carriers.
Rick Valderrama, Vice President
Rick brings over eighteen years of telecommunications experience to the Telephony Partners Executive Team. During his eleven years in the United States Air Force, Rick specialized in the design and implementation of tactical local and wide area networks with a specific focus on BGP routing and network security in converged environments. Following the Air Force, Rick launched the IT Engineering Division at Quantum Technology Services and there began his relationship with Telephony Partners, joining the company five years later. When not lending his network design expertise to our agents' more complex solutions, Rick shares management responsibilities for the overall strategic and tactical direction of the company.
Ed Kane, Operations Manager
Ed brings over eleven years of telecommunications experience to Telephony Partners. Following ten years of service in the United States Air Force, Ed joined Intermedia Communications in Tampa. As a Switch Network Engineer, he oversaw DMS 500 Voice Switch implementations and developed a propensity for project management in telecom that brought him to Qwest as a Technical Manager, acting as liaison between Operations and Provisioning in the deployment of new products. Ed became the Network Facilities Manager at Lightyear Communications in 2000, and oversaw all the company's bandwidth, circuit design, and provisioning functions, and was instrumental in the roll out of a forty-three site, twenty-five city voice-over ATM network. Ed has served as project manager at both the Telecommunications Group at Publix Supermarkets and in network facilities acquisition and network build out of the Tampa market for Metro PCS.
